It's all about the food. Self serve G.O.A.T. Yes folks this is the. Greatest of all time. Old school since I think the 50s or early 60,s Good value very rustic. But like I said it's all about the FOOD!!! I like beef and go to Thousand Oaks about 3 or 4 times a month.Check the hours they close at 5pm during the week and a couple hours later Thursday , Friday and Saturday . I'm not sure of the hours on Sunday. You have to be NICE and tell the crew exactly what you want . I like my meat med rare. So you have to ask and if their out I pass my two faves are the big and meaty bar b Q beef bones and the tri tip. My wife raves about the pulled pork and thinks the pork ribs are over cooked and dry. The salads rock all of them. Three kinds of sauce and the meat is seasoned but you add the sauce if necessary.i think good value. Quality at a fair price! $$

I patronize TOML when I want ribs. That's usually a few times a year. The pork baby backs are great. I haven't tried the sandwiches.

I've been a regular at Meat Locker in Thousand Oaks for quite some time now, and for good reason! Their incredible selection of BBQ keeps me coming back for more. Every visit is a delightful experience, with mouth-watering flavors and perfectly cooked meats that never disappoint. Whether you're craving ribs, brisket, or pulled pork, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the quality of the food is consistently top-notch. If you're in the mood for BBQ, look no further than Meat Locker. They truly are the best in town! Side note: I strongly recommend their 3 beef ribs combo, truly one of my favorites and to go for a lot

Food is good and tender. Service was helpful for a first timer. And it feels like a western vibe. The pull pork sandwich was great t with the jalapeño bbq
